Filmed or photographic image plays a dominating part in Ange Leccia\u2019s work. He works on it (slow-motions, photocopies, cut-outs, tears) and transforms it. Ange Leccia does not have any studio: the former is in his head, on paper, in his travels and in his numerous encounters. In his own world, he designs what he calls his \u201carrangements\u201c to bring out everyday life, to highlight the simplicity of things, to bring the visible out of the invisible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Former resident of the \u201cVilla M\u00e9dicis\u201d in Rome, Ange Leccia taught at Grenoble School of Arts and is now currently manager of the \u201cPavillon\u201d, educational unit of the \u201cPalais de Tokyo\u201d in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
