Saint-Étienne
de Montluc

Located at 20 km west of Nantes, the town is bordered by marshes on the south and, on the north, by the “Sillon de Bretagne”, a large woody hill crossed by many streams. What is striking when one arrives in Saint-Etienne-de-Montluc, is its church with its tower. Many people follow the hiking trail that crosses the town in order to discover the remnants of a rich past – its imposing standing stone of 4.23 m, its ancient manors and its mills. Since 1965, the town organises the now famous “Fête des Jonquilles” – daffodil festival – every year, on each palm Sunday.
